Liverpool U18s destroy Reading in pre-season thrashing!

 

Liverpool U18s scored an impressive 4-1 victory over Reading in a pre-season friendly on Saturday morning.

Jayden Danns scored twice for the Reds, with Cody Pennington and Joe Bradshaw also getting on the scoresheet. Reading pulled one back before half-time, but Liverpool restored their two-goal advantage early in the second half and went on to wrap up a comfortable win.

Manager Marc Bridge-Wilkinson was pleased with his team's performance, saying it was a "very useful exercise" ahead of the start of the competitive season.

The U18s are next in action next Saturday when they host Sunderland in the U18 Premier League North.
