On 18th September BCCI announced India's squad against Australia.Ravichandran Ashwin is picked against Australia."Ashwin brings in experience,so it gives us options in case there is a need at some stage to look at those guys.... There's no to speculate", Agarkar said.Ashwin's performance in three matches against Australia will decide his availability in world cup.


KL Rahul will be the captain and Ravindra Jadeja vice captain.Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Hardik Pandya, Kuldeep Yadav and Axar Patel will be unavailable in fast two match against Australia.

Shreyas Iyer was suffering for niggle pain however he is fit now.Ajit Agarkar said "Iyer has not picked a stress fracture otherwise he won't be in the team. At the moment he is fit and hopefully will het these three games. He did pick up a niggle but he is fit at the moment. Hopefully, Axar wil be fit for the third encounter, Ashwin brings experience. Both Ashwin and Washington are there as the backup for Axar. Will look at it when it is time there is no need to speculate about it right now"

First ODI scheduled to kick off the excitement on Friday September 22, at the iconic Punjab Cricket Association IS Bindra Stadium in Mohali. Indore's Holkar Cricket Stadium will host the second thrilling encounter on September 24, and the final showdown promises fireworks on September 27 at the Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Rajkot.
